Terms of use
These terms apply to the use of thepowertodomore.com, operated by B.B.R. Finance OÜ, 10120 Tallinn, Estonia.
1. Sponsored information
All content is sponsored and labelled “Advertisement · Sponsored content by B.B.R. Finance OÜ”. It is general information about household money in the United Kingdom: the State Pension and its payments, tax, banking and savings, and household costs and support.
2. No advice, not a public authority
The articles are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice and do not replace information from the relevant official bodies. Amounts and examples are illustrations, not a promise of any payment, refund or saving. The Power To Do More is not a government department, a tax authority or a bank, and is not affiliated with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), the Pension Service, HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) or any other public authority. This website takes no applications, arranges no financial products and charges no fees.
3. Dates and countdowns
Countdowns are calculated automatically each day from the current date and officially published dates. They are a reading aid, not a reminder service. The information from the responsible authority always prevails; dates can differ in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
4. Calendar files
The “Add to calendar” button lets you download a calendar file (.ics) with the upcoming dates in an article. No personal data is collected. The file contains the dates as they stood when you downloaded it and is not updated automatically.
5. The Money Diary
Signing up is voluntary and free and can be ended at any time through the unsubscribe link in every issue. Details of how your data is handled are in the privacy notice.
6. Liability
We prepare the content carefully from official sources. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from the use of, or reliance on, the content. Mandatory statutory liability is not affected. The operators of linked external websites are responsible for their content.
7. Copyright
The texts, design and images are protected. Linking to individual articles is welcome; reproducing content requires our written consent.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Estonian law. This does not deprive consumers resident in the United Kingdom or another country of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence, nor of any statutory right to bring proceedings where they live.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page applies. Questions: contact@thepowertodomore.com.
